Lancaster County Family Ties

TAYLOR ZACHARY APPLEBACH: He told people that he was a veteran, but obviously not. The below article was given to me because it had a photo of Pop (Taylor Applebach).  It is from the Lancaster paper and dated 9/14/1972. There is a photo of him with a caption, and at the end of the article a couple paragraphs about him.

TAYLOR & JENNIE APPLEBACH'S CHILDREN WHO DIED YOUNG: Their names were Mary C. (Catherine or Consuela depending on who is talking), Galen Stover, and Charles Ray.  All are buried in Terre Hill Cemetary, Terre Hill, Pa next to their parents.

RALPH & REBA (RESSLER) GARNER: I remember grandma telling me how she and Pappy with her older sister, Anna, and younger brother, Clarence, rode the train to Carlisle, PA to get married in March of 1935.  They wanted a certain pastor to marry them, and he had moved on to a church in Carlisle, PA.  Below is a copy of their marriage license and wedding photo.
