Metzger, Madeline M. The Ressler Family: descendants of Johann Heinrich Rossler, born in Germany ca. 1730 published 1994. This book is available thru the LDS Family History Library, or I physically was able to use the book for research at the Lancaster Menn. History Society in 2017.
I am looking for the book. Plus I would love photos of any Metzgers. If you know where I can get the book it would be really great! Thank you

ReplyDeleteAnyway, as far as the Ressler book by Madeline Metzger: it is out of print. I have seen it once for sale on Ebay for several hundred dollars. The only actual copy I have seen was at the Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society. If you cannot make it to the LMHS, I would recommend contacting the LDS library in Salt Lake City, Utah. There is info on contacting them on FamilySearch.com.
As for Johan Ressler, I post on here as I have time with documents and photos. There is tons of info on this blog about my own line which is thru Daniel Ressler. I am sorry but I know next to nothing at this point about the other lines.
