I found these 2 photos of churches James Applebach pastored in among mom's photos:

1973 - Congregational Church in Harvey, ND

 I do remember the church building in Harvey - I was in elementary school while we were there. The parsonage was right behind the church in the photo so it can be barely seen on the far right.

AN INTERESTING PHOTO

I found this photo among the tubs of photos from my mom.  Grandma GARNER had labeled the names and dates, but not what the story behind the photo was -  sure wish I knew.  I have found many photos that have Taylor APPLEBACH and the GARNER family doing trips together so maybe this was a normal occurrence in the 1960's after Jennie APPLEBACH died.

Just a side note: Bill Hendershot was a member of the church in Kilgore, NEB. On Find A Grave he is memorial # 81464296.

JOHN & EMMA REESE PHOTOS - 1961

Apparently, the winter of 1961 was pretty snowy at 525 Manor Street in Lancaster, PA.  Uncle John and Aunt Emma REESE appear to have plenty to spare in these photos.

I am slowly going through the 5 tubs of photos and letters that I inherited from mom.  It is a very slow process, partly because some days I just do not feel up to it, and other days because as I go through all of these memories I am trying to organize and complete the labels as I go. I am finding photos I have never seen before, which actually has been fun.
