JAMES APPLEBACH ORDINATION

James became an ordained minister on Sept. 17, 1964 in Kilgore, Nebraska.  He had already been preaching there for about a year prior to this. I have copies of several letters to other pastors he knew that were invited to the service.

The photo was taken the day of the ordination service and is taken beside the church.  His wife, Pauline (Garner), is visibly pregnant.

I believe the article was cut from one of the Lancaster papers.  Probably Grandma cut it out and sent it to mom (Pauline).
