MARTHA L. (RESSLER) BERBERIAN: Martha (or Mart to her family) was the daughter of Frank and Bertha (Findley) Ressler of New Providence, PA. She was an RN. I haven't gotten her marriage record yet, but she married Dr. Harry Berberian circa 1940 in Lancaster County. Her memorial on Find A Grave can be found at: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=33335950
Circa 1940: Wedding of Harry and Martha (Ressler) Berberian. The man on the left side of the photo in the dark suit was Frank Ressler (father of the bride). The woman beside Martha was Reba (Ressler) Garner - sister of Martha, and the light haired man behind Reba was Andrew Ressler - younger brother of Martha and Reba. The little girl standing in front of Reba is Reba's daughter Pauline. I personally do not know who any of the others are.
Addition: My mother looked at this photo over Thanksgiving 2014, and commented that she wandered why the fathers of the groom and bride were on the wrong side in the picture. Anyway, the older man on the bride's side was the father of Harry Berberian. My mother remembered him as being a very grumpy old man.
This genealogy blog came about because I inherited so many photos and documents from both my grandma and mother. Rather than keeping them to myself, I would like to share with others who may be looking for these same people. Names of Lancaster County, PA families that may be found here include: Applebach, Findley, Garner, Groff, Mosser/Musser, Musselman, Newpher, Ressler, Stover, Wolfe, Yost
