LAZARUS & ELIZABETH WOLF'S CHILDREN:

Per my handwritten notes from an interview with Dorothy Wolf in March 1986, these are the children she remembered them having.  She stated she did not remember the birth order and thought there were others she was forgetting because she thought there should be 17 names.  I have 2 elderly aunts still living and they confirm these names are correct, but are not sure if they are all there was.

Francis - Shillington
Arthur - Reamstown
Alice (Weller) - Akron
Jennie (Fair) - Lincoln
Elizabeth (Mull) - Ephrata
Emma (Eckenrode) -  Shillington
Edna (Faust) - Reamstown
Lydia Anne ( Reddig) - Reamstown
Issac - Lancaster
Mary Ida (Hahn, Stover) - Terre Hill



Dorothy Wolf stated in the same interview that some children of John and Mary Ida (Wolf) Stover were:

Jennie (my grandmother)
Elasta
Lottie
Edna
Wes (Sylvester?)
Mary's son by her first husband - Irvin/Ervin Hahn

In the January 1993 issue of Mennonite Family History Magazine was the below article on the family of Jacob & Susanna Ressler focusing on the line of Samuel Ressler (1804-1876). AFFLERBACH HOUSE IN GERMANY

This is the Afflerbach (Applebach) family home in Womelsdorf, Germany.  The farm has been passed down thru the generations to various family members and is still in the family.  When this photo was taken in May 1978, the resident was Karl Afflerbach.  While I lived in Germany, I visited with he and his wife and ate meals with them.  They proudly showed me the dark, low ceiling rooms that had been the original house back in the 1500's.  In Germany, houses used to be named and this one is the "Kraemershaus".
