So far, I have not found any photos of either of them. Abraham was born in Feb. 1850 or 1851 (depending on which document you are looking at) in Monroe County, PA. He was the son of Henry/Harry and Catharine (Stahr) Applebach. He died of what we now know as kidney disease in Oct. 1912 in Lancaster Co., PA. According to the marriage records at the LDS library, they were married on Dec. 12, 1872 in Lancaster, PA.
A stray document appears to show that he purchased a lot on South Prince St., Lancaster, PA from B. Frank Eshleman in 1882 for $100.
Elizabeth Little was the daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth (Marley) Little. She was born in Oct. 1850 in Littlestown, PA and died July 1931. Both she and Abraham are buried at Woodward Hill Cemetery.
According to the Directory of Lancaster City of 1873, he is listed as living at 105 N. Market and being a teamster (driver). The same source in 1877 lists him as boarding at the Eagle Hotel and being a teamster (driver). It also lists a Henry Applebach at the same address and job as groom. The same source in 1879 lists him as living at 105 N. Market and being a teamster (driver). The same source in 1890 lists him as living at 20 W. New and being a teamster (driver). The same source of 1898 lists him as living at 421 Concord and being a driver. It also lists his blind son, John, as living at the same address. The same source in 1909 lists all of these as living at 424 Concord: Abraham (driver), Mrs. Amelia (cigar maker), John, Scott (printer), Sherman (laborer), and Taylor (laborer). The 4 boys names are all Abraham and Elizabeth's sons. Interesting side note: the list also includes Taylor's x-wife, Maggie, at 266 W. Strawberry.
According to the Penn Census of 1860 of Monroe County, Abraham was 10 years old and born in PA - he was living with Samuel and Harriet Miltenberger. The same year, his sister Catherine was listed as 15 years old and born in PA - she was living with George and Catherine Weiss. The same year his father Henry is listed as being 44, a shoemaker, and born in PA.
According to the Penn.Census for 1880 of Lancaster County, Abraham is listed as 29, born in PA and living at 433 W Orange Street with his wife Lizzie also 29 and also born in PA. Their son John is listed as 2 years old and born in PA.
