APPLEBACH, TAYLOR & JENNIE (STOVER)

TAYLOR & JENNIE (Stover) APPLEBACH:  This photo was taken in 1950-1960.  Jennie was born to John and Mary Ida (Wolfe) Stover on 01 Oct. 1895 at Terre Hill, PA.  She died 01 Nov. 1962 of heart problems. He and Jennie had 9 live born children: Varge (1920-1992), Mary (b. and d. 1922), Romaine (1924 - 2012), Galen (1925-1926), Frances (1927 - ?), Charles (1929-1930), Paul (1931 - ?), Jean (1933 - ?) and James (1933 - 2005) - fraternal twins.

Taylor Applebach was baptized Zachary Taylor Applebach, but he hated the name Zachary so as an adult he always went by Taylor Z.  He was an identical twin to Winfield Scott Applebach (who always went by Scott).  He was born 28 Oct. 1886 and was very proud of the fact that he was born the day the Statue of Liberty was dedicated.  They were the sons of Abraham and Elizabeth (Little) Applebach. Taylor was married to Maggie Dostman in 1905 (divorced 1908), and Mamie Groff in 1909. He and Jennie married in 1920.
