APPLEBACH, JAMES

JAMES APPLEBACH:  He was born to Taylor Z. and Jennie (Stover) Applebach on 07 June 1933 by c-section in Philadelphia, PA.  He is a twin.  He had a very rough life: some due to things beyond his control, some because of his own poor choices.  Occupations included: truck driving, school bus driving, construction, and he was an ordained minister. He was the youngest surviving child of his parents.

He was a very insecure man, which resulted in him being a bully to his own family.  He stated many times that he had never wanted children and did not see why he should have to support any. Growing up, we moved many times as he changed jobs (or rumor has it that he got ran out of town).  He liked the West, which resulted in my younger years of living in Nebraska, North Dakota, Montana, and Idaho.

My parents divorced in the summer of 1983. My younger siblings are still sorting out their feelings about him.  I think in many ways he was a mystery to his own siblings because depending on which one you ask, you got a different description. He died in Oregon, and per the funeral home his body was sent to - was cremated and the ashes given to his second wife.

The below picture is believed to be his high school graduation (Penn Manor in Lancaster)  photo taken in 1952 or 1953:
